He is inviting youths between the ages of 17 and 18 years old to take their applications to the RDC office in Linden.“We’re looking to have the first batch of young people assigned to the various work areas in Region 10,” he stated.According to Morian, the youths will be trained in numerous areas, including education and health, and will receive firsthand training following attachment to various agencies.“We’re trying to place them within their communities so as to avoid transportation costs,” the Regional Chairman stated. The first batch of successful applicants, according to Morian, will commence training by month-end. There is reportedly a high level of unemployment in the Region, and as such, it is hoped that the programme will assist out-of-school youths in this regard.last_img
