Look out Arsenal! Spurs enter race for Gunners’ midfield target

first_img1 Adrien Rabiot Tottenham have made a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s highly-rated midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in Italy.Italian newspaper Il Tempo is claiming Spurs’ technical director Franco Baldini has made the France Under-21 international one of the club’s top targets when the transfer window re-opens in January.Rabiot only signed a new deal with PSG back in October as his contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but reports suggest that was down to the French side wanting a bigger fee for him in the New Year and hinting they would not stand in his way if he wanted to leave.The 19-year-old has failed to secure a regular first-team place under Laurent Blanc this season and would relish the chance to showcase his talents in England.Arsenal and Roma have also been linked with a move for Rabiot, but it now seems like Tottenham are in pole position to clinch his signature.last_img
